Traceability platform backend

What it does

The backend behind product traceability for enterprise and mid-market consumer-product brands. Products, batches and serialized units go through it, along with the authentication checks consumers run.

What I built

• Multi-org, multi-user authentication.
• Dynamic provenance creation.
• DIY setup flows, so clients can onboard themselves.
• GS1 serialization and NFC-based product authentication APIs.
• BullMQ pipelines for scheduled reports, batch jobs, and email and SMS delivery, with retries.
• SAP integration APIs.

Performance

Dashboard queries got 30% faster after I restructured the MongoDB aggregation pipelines: $match moved before $lookup, plus compound indexes on the high-volume queries.
